Not just another bulk food store…
In the spring of 2009, In The Raw Organics Specialty Bulk Foods and Goods, owned by sole proprietor Maria Mattei, opened its doors in Downtown Squamish with the already established business, Gelato Carina Wool Studio…and what a great idea this turned out to be! Not only does a person walk in to find a rare variety of quality organic bulk foods and goods, but also yummy homemade gelato and a rainbow of colours of wool to choose from.
Nestled in the heart of the community and the Sea to Sky corridor, In The Raw Organic’s purpose, is to provide the finest quality, hard-to-find, organic bulk foods and goods, in a small or large bag quantity, at a competitive price. The times are changing, and food sensitivities and allergies are a concern in todays food consumption. This is why we want to make sure that we carry gluten free, sulphite free and non-irradiated products, that may not be available in a regular grocery store. Our product is kept in large glass jars to ensure freshness, and is taken away in paper bags, or your own personal containers, to help reduce our carbon footprint, and yours.
